On November 5, the Supreme Court will hear a landmark case deciding whether the President can use emergency powers under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to impose tariffs — a decision that could mandate over $100 billion in tariff refunds.
Letter signer Price Johnson, COO of Cephalofair Games, shares how devastating these tariffs have been:
"Tariff volatility has meant job eliminations, company-wide furloughs, and product delays or cancellations. We've paid over $100,000 in new U.S. tariffs in the last two months alone, and had multiple products stuck overseas for months. We are a U.S. company. We have U.S. employees. We have U.S. families. We pay these U.S.-imposed tariffs."
Stories like Price’s are why We Pay the Tariffs is submitting an amicus brief to the Supreme Court—to show the real economic harm these tariffs are causing to small businesses and workers across America.
